TERESA WESTING Advance Funeral Planner teresa@ueckerwitt.com

After Teresa and her husband completed their own funeral plans over a decade ago, she realized the surprising personal relief that came with taking that simple step. Having experienced some unexpected deaths in her own family, she understands how planning ahead at a funeral home can be very beneficial to survivors.

Though she enjoyed her previous careers as a music teacher and as a family counselor, she reports taking the greatest satisfaction from helping families to learn about planning ahead for a very difficult day. “Seeing a thankful smile on their faces tells me that the hour or two we spent together to complete their life celebration plans was a pleasant relief for them, too.”

She and her husband, Dan, enjoy their pet turtle, grandchildren and time outdoors biking, boating, and gardening.
