Green Bay My grandpa was an honest true man. He loved his kids and his grandchildren dearly. When I would ask him about his time in the war he would tell me stories. When he was able he would go fishing with me and my sister. I loved my grandpa very much and I can't wait to see him again. Love Joel

Green Bay My grandfather was a humorous and funny guy. He was a handsome and cool person. We went fishing together and did many things. Grandpa even did card tricks we never knew how to do. He told us about how he went to the war and he never shot anyone. He told us where he went, how he got there and what kind of guns he had. When my brother Joel was younger, grandpa let him shoot cans off trees, but not me because I was still quite young. I will miss him dearly and I know there will be sadness and hapiness while he is gone. I hope one day I will see him in heaven when Jesus comes again. Love Naomi

Pulaski, WI My memory of my Grandpa is when I was young he would always teach me work comes before play. Never was there a time i can remember playing before working but it was a lesson I will always remember. Also I remember the many many homes my Grandpa and Grandma would build or remodel. I distinctly enjoyed watching them build a log home on the Fox River. It was beautiful and had such a nice view. Grandpa took us sledding there and taught me how to golf. He was very special to me. I loved him and I will miss him. God is awesome and when Jesus comes in the clouds of glory I will see Grandpa again.

Green Bay My Grandpa was the best! I remember him playing baseball with me, taking me to wrestling and watching my baseball games. We shot BB-guns, watched football and went out on the river with the rowboat. He taught me so many things and I am going to miss him so much.

Campbell My special reassurance to dad before he passed was that when he could no longer walk Jesus would carry him. He knew the Lord and he said, "Thank You God." He asked his loving wife of 52 years "What are you thinking?" She told him she thought he was in very good hands and we would all be in good hands as well. He was requesting permission to leave and she gently gave it to him. He signaled to her his love eternal and smiled. He passed peacefully several hours later. My God is an awesome God.
