Larry A. Liedke

Larry A. Liedke, 88, of 545 Luco Rd, Fond du Lac, passed away peacefully at his residence on Tuesday, June 26, 2012. He was born on January 20, 1924 in Fond du Lac, the son of Alvin E. and Minnie E. (Cudworth) Liedke. Larry was a graduate of Fond du Lac Senior High School. He served in the United States Army during World War II, stationed in the European Theatre for three years. Following the war, Larry went to work for Wisconsin Power & Light until his retirement. He was a member of Immanuel-Trinity Lutheran Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing on Lake Winnebago, and sports, especially the Green Bay Packers.
SURVIVORS: nephew, Scott (Lynn) Sweet of Oshkosh, WI, niece, Julia Sweet of Ponte Vedra, FL. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Shirley Sweet, and very special friend, Leora Homa.
Funeral Information
VISITATION: Wednesday, July 25, 2012 from 1:30-2:30 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave, Fond du Lac. FUNERAL: Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at 2:30 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home with the Reverend Shari Routh officiating. Cremation has taken place. Interment will follow at Ledgeview Memorial Park.
