Dorothy M. Daniels

Dorothy M. Daniels, 91, formerly of 423 N. National Avenue and currently a resident of LakeView Estates, died Saturday, August 28, 2010, at her residence. She was born July 28, 1919, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Simon “Sam” and Elizabeth Schaefer Emery. She moved to Milwaukee in 1954 and returned to Fond du Lac in 1975. On November 7, 1953, she married Alex F. Daniels at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in St. Peter. He preceded her in death on August 10, 1986. Dorothy was a member of Holy Family parish and the St. Anne Mission Quilters.
Surviving is a daughter, Kathleen (Gary) Schneider of Fond du Lac, a grandson, Nicholas Schneider of Dubuque, IA, a daughter-in-law, Susan Daniels of Fond du Lac, two sisters, Esther Basler of Racine, and Viola Hackbarth of Fond du Lac, three sisters-in-law, Viola Emery of Fond du Lac, Sister Agnes Daniels OSF of Campbellsport, and Lucinda Lecher of West Bend, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Her parents, husband, a son, Donald Daniels, and a brother, Gene Emery preceded her in death.

Funeral Information

Visitation for Dorothy M. Daniels will be on Wednesday, September 1, 2010,from 1 to 3 PM at St. Peter Catholic Church, Hwy WH, St. Peter. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 3 PM on Wednesday at the church. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
