John W. "Lefty" Rast

John W. “Lefty” Rast, age 50, of 614 Jefferson St, Oshkosh, died unexpectedly Friday, March 16, 2012 at his residence. He was born on September 3, 1961 in Madison, the son of John L. and Marcia (Pucillo) Rast. On January 23, 2004 he married Sandra Immel in Fond du Lac. She preceded him in death on December 31, 2008.

SURVIVORS: four children, A.J., Nikki, Jake, and Chase, all of Oshkosh, granddaughter, Lucie, his parents, John and Marcia Rast of Buffalo Grove, IL, brother, Michael Rast of Phoenix, AZ, sisters, Sue (Jim) Hodges of Madison, Tricia (Jerry) Prine of Madison, brothers in law, Jim Immel of Oshkosh, Dennis Immel of Oshkosh, sister in law, Denice Schmitz of Fond du Lac, and nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. “Lefty” is also survived by the Sundowners Motorcycle Club. He was preceded in death by his wife, and his mother in law, Susan Immel.

Funeral Information

VISITATION: Wednesday, March 21, 2012 from 4-6 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave, Fond du Lac, WI, 54935. MEMORIAL SERVICE: Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Cremation has taken place. Interment of cremains will take place at a later date at All Saints Mausoleum, Rienzi Cemetery.
