DOLORES M. UNFERTH
Dolores M. Unferth, 83, of 240 S. Park Avenue, Fond du Lac, died May 2, 2008 at her daughter’s residence. She was born March 5, 1925, the daughter of Clark and Annabelle Bresnehan Arnold in Fond du Lac. In November 1946 she married Robert Burton at St. Louis Church, Fond du Lac and he preceded her in death. Dolores was a member of Holy Family Parish, Sacred Heart Church. She worked as a bartender at the Blue Room, seasonal work at California Canners and Growers, and secretarial work for the Red Cross retiring in 1990. She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. She was also an avid Packer and Brewer fan.
SURVIVORS: one daughter, Linda (William) Zellmer, Waukesha; one son, Bruce (Diane) Unferth, Waukesha; four grandchildren, Michelle (Gary) Moon, Stacey (Jason) Krueger, Chad (fiancée Karen) Unferth, April (Tony) Unferth; six great grandchildren; one sister, Virginia Percy, Fond du Lac; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and four brothers.
Funeral Information
VISITATION: will be from 4-7 PM on Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home and again on Wednesday from 9:30- 10:30 AM at the funeral home. A Liturgy of the Word service will take place at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home with Deacon Larry Hughes officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
