Ann M. Basler

Ann M. Basler, 58, formerly of Fond du Lac, died Saturday, February 25, 2012, at St. Luke’s Medical Center after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born July 9, 1953, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Edward and Esther Emery Basler. Ann moved to Milwaukee in 1972 and later to Racine in 2004, where she was employed by Aurora Health Care.
Surviving is her mother, Esther Basler of Racine, a sister, Linda (Bill) Boudry of Hartford, WI, two brothers, Jim (Cheri) Basler of Minooka, IL, and Jerry (Gail) Basler of Columbus, WI, , nieces and nephews, including her special nieces, Kate (Ed) Possing of Racine and Michelle (Tony) Heger of Muskego, WI, her “grandchildren” Caitlin, Olivia, Max, Jake, and Abby Possing, Hannah and Kendall Heger, and a great-granddaughter, Lily Possing. She is further survived by her dear friend, Bridget Frank of Oelwein, IA. Her father, a sister, Mary Breister, and a brother-in-law, John Breister, preceded her in death.
Funeral Information
Visitation for Ann M. Basler will be on Wednesday, February 29, 2012, from 12 noon to 2 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Avenue, Fond du Lac. Liturgy of the Word for Christian Burial services will be at 2 PM at the funeral home. Deacon Larry Hughes will officiate. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be directed to the American Cancer Society.
