Dawn Marie Kind, 40, of Fond du Lac, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 7, 2012 at St. Agnes Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 1, 1972 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Beatrice and Ambrose Sabel. Dawn was a very special person who was loved by everyone. Her favorite activity was going to bingo with her mom and grandparents. She also enjoyed bowling, swimming, and visiting family. She had a love for animals, especially her cat, Holly. Every holiday was spent with family and the party wasn’t over until she said “party over”. Dawn was active in the ARC, Hands on Adult Daycare and her respite weekends in Oshkosh, WI. She also worked at Domino’s Pizza and Brooke Industries. Each summer she would spend a week camping at Camp Sandy Wheel.
SURVIVORS: her parents, Beatrice and Ambrose Sabel; one brother, Kevin (Tracy) Sabel; special niece and nephew, Sabrina and Cael Sabel; her loving grandparents, Harold and Dolores Kind; step grandfather, Ambrose Sabel, Sr.; many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her cousin, Chad Kind; step grandmother, Marilyn Sabel; very special couple, Frank and Annabelle Miller; and other aunts and uncles.
Funeral Information
VISITATION: will be from 2 – 5 PM on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. There will be no funeral service. Cremation will follow the visitation and inurnment will take place in Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family extends a special thank you to the St. Agnes Hospital staff and doctors for their care and compassion, and to Chad Way and Vanessa Forqurean for their help during Dawn’s life.
