Andrew S. "Andy" Nett

Andrew S. “Andy” Nett, 66, died Saturday, June 9, 2018 at his home in Eldorado surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Fond du Lac on January 23, 1952 to Alfred and Estella (Schneider) Nett. Andy was a graduate of Goodrich High School. On April 13, 1997, he married Bonnie (Toth) Long at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Fond du Lac. Andy worked for the maintenance division of National Exchange Bank & Trust, retiring in 2013.



Andy enjoyed spending time with grandchildren, gardening, country line dancing and cooking. For several years he enjoyed delivering ice cream to small towns and villages in the area with his I Dream Ice Cream truck.



Survivors include his wife, Bonnie; son, Karl Nett (Renee Brown) of Fond du Lac; daughter, Amber (Kevin) Cloyd of Fortville, IN.; step-son, Cory (Kellie) Toth of Fond du Lac; two step-daughters, Stephanie (Jason) Philipp of Neenah and Sarah Bednar of North Fond du Lac; eight grandchildren; brother, Thomas (Kathy) Nett of Spokane, WA.; sister, Catherine Nett of North Fond du Lac; brother-in-law, Joseph Freda of Merrick, NY; and a sister-in-law, Sue (Richard) Dittman of Shoreview, MN. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, James Nett and his sister, Susan Reffke.



Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave. in Fond du Lac and again at the funeral home from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM on Friday, June 15, 2018. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM. Cremation will follow the services.



In lieu of flowers, memorials to Heartland Hospice are appreciated.
