Marilyn J. Colward, 68, of Fond du Lac, died Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at her residence. She was born September 19, 1944 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Bernard and Ellen Ferdon Loehr. On June 17, 1961 she married Charles P. Knutson, Sr. at Presentation Church, North Fond du Lac and he preceded her in death on March 7, 1991. While working at Rolling Meadows Nursing Home she met Eugene D. Colward and they were married January 8, 1994. Marilyn was a member of the Cathedral of St. Paul. She enjoyed her pets, mowing lawn, snowmobiling, motorcycle rides and loved fishing, going to casinos and spending time with her grandchildren.She is survived by her husband, Gene; four children, Ellen (John) Kiczula, North Fond du Lac, Kenneth (Carolyn) Knutson, Springfield, MO, Christine Gens, Fond du Lac, Charles (Willena) Knutson, Jr., Parker, CO; eleven grandchildren, Aaron Kiczula, Peter (fiancée, Miranda Lenac) Kiczula, Kenny (fiancée, Maranda Pringle) Corneilson, Jeremy Mullenbach, Chris, Joseph, Shari, Jenny (Roland) Westphal, Julie Rosenthal, Dylan Knutson, Reno Knutson; six great grandchildren; one sister, Diane (Larry) Eggers, Fond du Lac; one brother, Tim (Pam) Loehr, South Carolina; one sister-in-law, Connie Loehr, Van Dyne; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles; one brother, Joe Loehr and 1 great grandchild.



The visitation will be held from 10:00 AM "“ 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at Cathedral of St. Paul. The memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at Cathedral of St. Paul with Fr. Brian Beno officiating. Cremation has taken place and inurnment will be held in Rienzi Cemetery at a later date. Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
