Alice T. White

Alice T. White, 85, of Fond du Lac, died Friday, July 20, 2012 at her residence. She was born April 10, 1927 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Leo and Helen Bialk Klatt. Alice was a 1945 graduate of St. Mary's Springs Academy. On September 18, 1948 she married David C. White at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Fond du Lac. Alice worked for Hutter Construction and retired in the early 90's from Merwin's Fashions, Fond du Lac. She was a member of Holy Family Parish, Sacred Heart Church. Alice volunteered for 23 years at St. Agnes Hospital, helped with the Religious Education Program at Sacred Heart, worked for Loaves and Fishes, and in January of 1989 started Perpetual Adoration at Sacred Heart. She enjoyed swimming, being outdoors, spending time at the cottage up north, and most of all loved spending time with her family.SURVIVORS: her husband, David; three children, Theresa (fiancé, Greg Stollfus) Clapper, Fond du Lac, Michael White, Sherwood, Linda (Mark) Parker, Fond du Lac; six grandchildren, Jon (Brandi) Clapper, Melissa (Jason) Perkins, Anna White, Adam White, Josh Parker, Brittany Parker; five great grandchildren, Mandy, Zoe, Alicyn, Jevon, Gracianne. She is further survived by one sister, Margy Mase, Fond du Lac; one sister-in-law, Jeanne (Charles) Smith, Cape Haze, FL; nieces, nephews, and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents; her father and mother-in-law, John and Hilda White; one great granddaughter, Jozie Clapper; one sister, Marion (Wilb) Mielke; one brother, Joseph Klatt; one sister-in-law, Rosemary (Tom) Zonik; one brother-in-law, Jack Mase; a special aunt, Sr. Cecilia Bialk.



VISITATION: will be from 1:30 PM "“ 3 PM today, Sunday, July 22, 2012 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The memorial service will be held at 3 PM today, Sunday, July 22, 2012 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home with Ruth Ann Ross officiating. Cremation has taken place with entombment in Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park at a later date.In lieu of flowers memorials are appreciated to the Arthritis Foundation in Alice's name.
