Benjamin H. "Ben" Lapine

Benjamin "Ben" H. LaPine, 86, of Fond du Lac, died Sunday, October 27, 2013 at his residence. He was born January 26, 1927 in Fond du Lac, the son of Harry and Ethel Bott LaPine. On September 16, 1950 he married Patricia A. Savage at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Chilton. Ben worked in heating and air conditioning and later in maintenance. He was a member of Holy Family Parish and Eagles Aerie #270. Ben enjoyed his family, woodcarving, hunting, fishing, traveling, and times spent at the cottage.He is survived by his wife, Patricia "Pat" LaPine, Fond du Lac; two daughters, Barbara (Stephen) Paulick, River Falls, WI and Sharon (Butch) Boodry, Tipler, WI; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; nieces and nephews; his companion, Clancy. He is further survived by four sisters, Alice Palkovich, Audrey Prink, June Burns, and Gertrude (Stuart) Blau, all of Fond du Lac. He was preceded in death by his parents; one granddaughter; three brothers; one sister.



VISITATION: The visitation will be held from 4:00 PM "“ 8:00 PM on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home and again on Thursday from 9:30 AM "“ 11:00 AM at the church. FUNERAL: The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 31, 2013 at Sacred Heart Church, Holy Family Parish. Cremation will follow the traditional services.
