Bernice A. "Bea" Mccarthy

Bernice A. "Bea" McCarthy, 79, of 261 Bayberry Lane, died Monday, November 20, 2006, at St. Agnes Hospital. She was born February 15, 1927, in North Fond du Lac, the daughter of Frank and Minnie Meyn Stueber. On November 8, 1947, she married Richard F. McCarthy in Fond du Lac. He preceded her in death on August 14, 1983. Mrs. McCarthy was a member of Holy Family Parish-St. Joseph's Church. She was formerly employed by the US Government in the Pentagon, Sears, Mercury Marine, and Fond du Lac County. She retired in 1996. "Bea" enjoyed the Green Bay Packers, trips on the casino bus, bowling, and a good game of poker with her family and friends. Surviving are two daughters, Kathy (Lance) McClellan of Fond du Lac, and Patricia (Troy) Jones of Lancaster, TX, six grandchildren; Shannon McClellan of Milwaukee, Don (Heather) McClellan of Glendale, WI, Mark (Fiancé' Jill Stephany) McClellan of Fond du Lac, and Jeremy, Justin, and Casey Jones, all of the Dallas-Forth Worth area. She is further survived by three brothers; LaVerne Stueber of Houston, TX, Larry (Nancy) Stueber of Glendale, AZ, and Lester (Kathy) Stueber of North Fond du Lac, a sister, Betty (Leroy) Smith of North Fond du Lac, 3 sister-in-law's, Marge Stueber, Kathryn Curran of Fond du Lac, and Nadine(Tom)Duffy of Bentonville, Ark. Also surviving are nieces and nephews. Her parents, husband, a brother, Darold, a sister, Leatrice "Lee" Keding,her mother and father-in-law Rudy & Dororthy McCarthy, 2 brother-in-laws, William Keding,and Don McCarthy and a sister-in-law, Becky Stueber, preceded her in death.



Visitation for Mrs. Bernice A. "Bea" McCarthy will be on Wednesday, November 22, 2006, from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm on Wednesday at the funeral home and Mass of Christian Burial at 2:30 pm at St. Joseph's Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
