CARL G. HINMANCarl G. Hinman,95 of 106 East 9th Street, died Sunday, November 6,2005. He was born on May 13,1910 in Fergus Falls, Minnesota the son of Ben and Jencena Leikness Hinman. On January 29,1944 he married Lillian Margaret Senger at the Division Street Methodist Church. Mr. Hinman retired from the State of Wisconsin Corrections Division in 1972 after 22 years of service as a Cell Hall Sergeant. Prior to working for the State of Wisconsin he owned a butcher shop in Fond du Lac and farmed in Oakfield. After retirement his wife and he moved to Herbster, WI until 1992 when they returned to Fond du Lac. Carl was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a member of the Church of Peace- United Church of Christ. Carl was a member of Fond du Lac Lodge No.26 Free & Accepted Masons, and had over 50 years of membership. He was also a Scottish Rite Mason 32nd Degree, and a member of Tripoli Shrine Temple, Milwaukee and the Fond du Lac Shrine Club.SURVIVORS: He is survived by his daughter, Judith (Keith) LaVoie, of Collierville, TN, a grandson, Carl J. (Jessica Bresette) Hinman of Oshkosh. Carl was preceded in death by his bride, Lillian on December 31,1995 after 52 years of wonderful marriage. Also preceding him in death were four sisters, Bernice and Lucille Hinman, Lillian Wenzl and Margaret Hanson.



VISITATION: Thursday, November 10,2005 from 5-8 P.M. Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: Friday, November 11,2005 at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Reverend Virginia Pych will officiate with burial to follow at Avoca Cemetery, Oakfield. A Masonic memorial service will be held at 7:30 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is serving the family.
