Carol B. Madigan

Carol B. Madigan, age 88, of Rosendale, passed away on Saturday, July 31, 2021, at Hospice Home of Hope. She was born on March 29, 1933, in Van Dyne, the daughter of Victor and Flora (Jahnke) Miller. Carol formerly owned and operated Carol’s Hut and Carol’s Corner for many years. She was an excellent cook and baker and she enjoyed quilting and sewing.



Survivors include four daughters, Denise (Michael) Dewey, Joan (Rich) Seidler, Georgina Roderick, Patricia (Michael) Nett; grandchildren, Stephanie Roberts, Amber (Nathan) Dahl, Aimee (Ben) Voeck, Heather Wagner, Joshua (Kayla) Wagner, Ty Lewis, Eric (Ammber) Cudney; eight great-grandchildren, Oliver, Owen, Brody, Caden, Ellyana, Landon, Katrina, Marcos; three sisters, Nona, Bonnie, and Joan. Carol is further survived by the entire Madigan family; dear friend, Fran Wustrack; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, George Seidler, Larry Resop, Patrick Madigan; her daughter, Mary Ann; one granddaughter, Michelle; one sister, Betty.



Per Carol’s request there will be no visitation or service. If desired, memorials may be gifted in Carol’s name to the American Lymphoma Society and Hospice Home of Hope. And, a special thank you to Hospice Home of Home for all their loving care. Cremation has taken place and a private family committal service was held at Estabrooks Cemetery.
