CAROLYN M. OLSONCarolyn M. Olson, 68, formerly a resident of Rolling Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Fond du Lac, died Monday, November 27, 2006 at Hope Health and Rehabilitation Center, Lomira. She was born the daughter of Howard and Lynda Rurup Olson on August 21, 1938 in Britton, South Dakota. Carolyn received a business major from Whapeton State School of Science in North Dakota. In 1974 she moved to Wisconsin and became a resident of the Fond du Lac area. Carolyn worked for the State of Wisconsin as a Job Service Assistant for 28 years, retiring in 2001. She was a member of the Fond du Lac Eagles Auxiliary. She enjoyed reading and her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren.SURVIVORS: one daughter, Robin (Kevin) Van Egtern, Oakfield; four grandchildren, Ashley Van Egtern, Ashland, WI, Brittany Van Egtern, Stevens Point, WI, Richard Van Egtern, Marquette, MI, Cheyenne Van Egtern, Oakfield; one brother, Lee Olson, Lakefield, MN; two sisters, Mary Jo (David) Solid, North Fond du Lac, Cherry Olson-Parrish, Fond du Lac; one brother-in-law, Art Johnson, Ottertail, MN; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, infant twin brothers and two sisters, Linda Louise and Bonnie Johnson.



VISITATION: will be from 1 PM "“ 4PM on Saturday, December 2, 2006 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 4 PM on Saturday at the funeral home with Rev. Thomas Behnke officiating. Cremation will follow traditional services.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
