Catherine H. Luby

December 3, 1914 — February 5, 2007

Catherine H. Luby, 92, formerly of 110 E. Division Street, died Monday, February 5, 2007, at the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home where she had been a resident for the past eight years. She was born December 3, 1914, in Campbellsport, the daughter of Nicholas J. and Gertrude Campbell Klotz. On January 9, 1943, she married Robert E. Luby in Lubbock, TX. He preceded her in death on January 11, 1960. Mrs. Luby was a member of Holy Family Parish, St. Mary's Church. Catherine and her husband owned and operated Luby's Supper Club in Princeton from 1955 to 1970. She later moved to Fond du Lac and was employed by South Hills Country Club for five years, and later by Sunset Supper Club until her retirement in 1981. Mrs. Luby was a member of Trier-Puddy American Legion Post #75 Auxiliary and the American Association of Retired Persons. Surviving are two sisters, Jeanette (Clyde) Jones of North Fond du Lac, and Clarissa Mowbray of Fond du Lac, nieces, including special niece Cheryl Wagner Callahan of Fond du Lac, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Her parents, husband, three sisters, Monica Graff, Geraldine Wagner, and Mary Cady, and one brother, Edward Klotz preceded her in death.



Visitation for Mrs. Catherine H. Luby will be on Thursday, February 8, 2007, from 10 to 11 am at St. Mary's Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 am on Thursday at the church.
