Chad J. Braatz

Chad John Braatz, 40 of Fond du Lac, passed away peacefully at Theda-Clark Hospital on Wednesday March 18, 2015. He was born the son of John “Jack” and Janet “Jan” (Kraus) Braatz.



Survivors include his children; Alexander, Calvin and Olivia of Fond du Lac; his parents of Fond du Lac; his sister and brother-in-law Jody (Matt) Jensen of Crandon, WI; nieces; Lynlee, Katelyn and McKenna Jensen of Crandon, WI ; his maternal grandmother Catherine Kraus of Fond du Lac; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and Angela (Biwer) Braatz, mother of his children. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, maternal grandfather and his good friend, Jason Narance.



Visitation for Chad will be held Sunday, March 22, 2015 from 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave. in Fond du Lac. Memorial service will follow at 5:00 PM. Burial will occur at a later date in St. Peter Cemetery. Cremation has taken place.



In lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established by Chad’s parents for his children’s education. Please make checks payable to Jack & Jan Braatz.



Chad’s parents wish to thank the staff of Theda-Clark Hospital for their excellent care and compassion during Chad’s lengthy stay.
