Dale L. Tessner

Dale L. Tessner, 59, died Friday, May 22, 2015 at his residence in Fond du Lac. He was born in Fond du Lac on November 21, 1955, the son of Leonard and Mary (King) Tessner. Dale attended Goodrich High School. On March 28, 1987, he married Diane Enders at the Gospel Tabernacle Church in Fond du Lac.

Dale was a prayer warrior till the end, often spending hours praying for those he loved and cared about. Even as he battled cancer for 5 years, he still made the time to visit local nursing homes and minister to the residents with the love of Christ. He also enjoyed painting in his spare time.

Surviving Dale is his wife, Diane; his son, Joshua and his brother-in-law, Ken (Helen) Huelsman, who was married to Dale’s sister, Kathy. Preceding him in death were his parents; two sisters, Dorothy Noonan-Gusse and Kathy Huelsman.

Visitation for Dale will be held Tuesday, May 26, 2015 from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave. in Fond du Lac and again at Uecker-Witt on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM with Pastor Dick Geffers officiating. Burial will follow in Rienzi Cemetery.
