Darlene J. Van Nocker, 80, of 653 West Arndt Street, Fond du Lac died Wednesday, July 9, 2008 surrounded by her family at the Woodlands Senior Park, Fond du Lac where she had been a resident for the past two years. She was born January 10, 1928 in Oshkosh, the daughter of Henry T. and Edna F. Raven Robinson. On May 8, 1948 she married Gerald F. Van Nocker in Oshkosh and he preceded her in death on June 13, 1988. She was a loving wife and mother of seven children. She was a life long member of St. Paul's Cathedral, Fond du Lac. She was a member of the Salvation Army Women's Home League. She enjoyed crocheting afghans for her grandchildren, cross-stitch, playing bingo and loved spending time with her family. SURVIVORS: seven children, Charmaine (Larry) Brown, Fond du Lac, Ronald (JoAnn) Van Nocker, Fond du Lac, Timothy (Pamela) Van Nocker, Pearland, TX, Jeffery (Lorena) Van Nocker, Fond du Lac, David (Shelli) Van Nocker, Beaver Dam, Julie (Mark) Graf, Fond du Lac, Michelle (David) Holdmann, Fond du Lac; 17 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; five brothers, Floyd Robinson, Oshkosh, Donald Robinson, Oshkosh, William Robinson, Oshkosh, Richard (Shirley) Robinson, Woodruff, Tom (Gail) Robinson, Rosendale; three sisters, Mary Robinson, Oshkosh, Margaret Quast, Oshkosh, Ruth (Tom) Werner, Red Granite; one sister-in-law, Geraldine Carter; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Gerald; one brother, David Robinson; one sister, Carol Robinson; two sisters-in-law, Joanne Robinson and Dolores Robinson.



VISITATION: will be from 4 "“ 8 PM, today, Thursday, July 10, 2008 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home and again on Friday, July 11, 2008 at church from 9 AM "“ 10 AM. The funeral service will be held at 10 AM on Friday, July 11, 2008 at Cathedral Church of St. Paul with Fr. Brian Beno officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park, Oshkosh.The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff of Woodlands Senior Park and St. Agnes Hospice Hope.
