Dean Robert Walgenbach, age 37, of North Fond du Lac, went to live with his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, February 20, 2007. He was born in Milwaukee on August 21, 1969, the son of Daniel and Linda Guse Walgenbach. Dean was baptized into the Christian Faith on September 14, 1969, and confirmed in 1984. He married Stacy Dobbs of North Fond du Lac on Valentine's Day in 1998 at Immanuel Trinity Lutheran Church. He was a 1988 graduate of North Fond du Lac High School. He enjoyed driving the tractors and combines on his parents' farm, which led him into being a truck driver for various companies. He was most recently employed at Oshkosh Truck. Besides being with his family, Dean enjoyed hunting, fishing, and was an avid fan of NASCAR racing, especially of Dale Earnhardt, Jr. and Sr. Last summer, he enjoyed playing ball with the St. Paul's Lutheran Church League of North Fond du Lac. Surviving is his wife, Stacy, three children; Craig, Jenna, and Hunter, his parents, Daniel and Linda Walgenbach, a sister and her husband, DaLinda (Greg) Koentopp, all of Fond du Lac, nine half-brothers and sisters, Rick (Special Friend Jeanette) Friday of New London, WI, Tami (Tim) Buchholz of Clintonville, WI, Randy Friday of Bellevue, WI, Mike (Melissa) Friday of Iola, WI, Laurie (Willie) Schumacher of Weyauwega, WI, Todd Hansen and Stacy (Brian) Roycraft, both of Omro, Karen Hansen of Berlin, WI, Kevin Hansen of Plainfield, WI, and their mother, Janice Friday of Clintonville, WI. He is further survived by his grandmother, Margaret Guse of Marengo, IL, his mother-in-law, Charlene Schifelbine of North Fond du Lac, two brothers-in-law, Ryan (Anita) Dobbs of Fond du Lac, and Jason Schifelbine of North Fond du Lac, his Godparents, Sandra Ham, Richard Bartelt, and the late Herbert Holz, several aunts uncles, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. His grandparents, Ray and Lorraine Walgenbach, and Harold Guse, and a brother, Lynn Hansen, preceded him in death.



Visitation for Mr. Dean Robert Walgenbach will be on Friday, February 23, 2007, from 4 to 8 pm at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Avenue, Fond du Lac and again on Saturday from 9:30AM until the time of service at the funeral home. Funeral services will be on Saturday, February 24, 2007, at 11 am at the funeral home. The Rev. Thomas Behnke will officiate and burial will be in Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated for the surviving children. Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
