Deborah Sue Steffen

Deborah S. Steffen, 65, of Van Dyne, died Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at Grancare Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on June 12, 1956, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Clarence and Marilyn (Perry) Marx. On June 4, 1983, she married Thomas Steffen in Fond du Lac. Deborah was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. She worked at A.C. Nielson for 33 years. Deborah enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and loved dogs.



She is survived by her husband, Thomas; daughter, Heather Steffen; two brothers, Charles, and Michael (Amy) Marx; stepmother, Barbara Marx; four sisters, Maureen Kilgore, Constance (George) Fechhelm, Roberta (Brian) Shea, and Janet (Kevin) McCreedy; three sisters-in-law, JoAnn (Ken) Fenske, Charlene Keip, and Marge Steffen; four brothers-in-law, Ronald (Pam) Steffen, Joe (Jane) Steffen, Mike (Lucy) Steffen, and Larry (Paula) Steffen; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Marx; mother, Marilyn (Perry) Marx; father and mother-in-law, Clarence Sr. and Marion Steffen; sister, Kathleen Marx; three brothers-in-law, Clarence Jr. “Butch” Steffen, Richard Doll, and Larry Kilgore II; and sister-in-law, Rosann Doll.



The visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Memorial service will follow the visitation at 3:00 PM at the funeral home. Cremation has taken place.
