Dennis M. Dobratz

Dennis M. Dobratz, age 89, died Thursday, April 05, 2018 at ManorCare Health Services in Fond du Lac and had most recently resided in Ogema. He was born on March 15, 1929 in Green Bay but was raised in Birnamwood. Dennis served in the United States Army stationed in Germany in 1951-52. On June 5, 1959 he married Gladys Seefeldt at St. Paul’s Church in Birnamwood. She preceded him in death in 2004. Dennis was a rural milk hauler for Morning Glory his entire life. He enjoyed gardening and especially loved his flowers.



Survivors include two sons, Robert (Christine Kemp) Dobratz of Brownsville, Larry Dobratz of Madison; four grandchildren, Brad (Kari) Dobratz, Bryan (Marissa) Dobratz, Brent Dobratz, and Barbara Dobratz; three great-grandchildren, Dylan, Rosie, and Owen; one sister, Marolyn LaViolette of KS; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Betty; his wife Gladys; and one brother, Wayne.



Visitation will take place on Sunday, April 8, 2018 from 2-4 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave, Fond du Lac, WI, 54935. A funeral service will follow the visitation at the funeral home at 4:00 PM. Burial will take place at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, Readfield, WI.
