Dolores M. Galle

Dolores M. Galle, 76, formerly of Portland Square, died Tuesday, March 31, 2009, at ManorCare Nursing Home where she had been a resident for the last 1½ months. She was born July 31, 1932, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of George E. and Leona Parish Bell. On June 25, 1949, she married Daniel G. Galle in Fond du Lac. He preceded her in death on April 10, 2004. Dolores was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, and a past President of the Eagles Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed camping and knitting. Dolores was formerly employed by the Beer Hut, Diamond Drive Inn, and managed the Willow Village Apartments. Surviving is a daughter, Bonnie Fink of Fond du Lac, three sons; R.D. (Mary) Galle of Texas, David (Shelly) Galle of Henderson, NV, and Michael (Betty) Galle of Fond du Lac, 19 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren, She is further survived by two sisters, Pat Allen of Texas, Joyce Zehren of Menasha, WI and a brother, William (Mary) Bell of New Holstein. Her parents, husband and six brothers preceded her in death.



Visitation for Dolores M. Galle will be on Monday, April 6, 2009, from 4 to 8 pm at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, April 7th at 10:30 am at the funeral home. The Rev. Arthur Callies will officiate and burial will be in Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery.
