Doloris "Dee" (Fielding) Jasman

September 5, 1932 — November 15, 2022

Doloris “Dee” Jasman passed away peacefully on November 15, 2022. Dee was born September 5, 1932 in Dale, WI, the daughter of Edmond and Alice (Van Slate) Fielding. Her family moved to New London when she was 12 years old. She graduated from Washington High School in 1950. She married the love of her life Paul Jasman on February 20, 1952 at Most Precious Blood Church, then moved to North Fond du Lac where they lived for over 60 years

Dee was a wonderful caring person who touched many lives. She was generous, supportive, always lent a helping hand, and filled many prayer requests for others. Her family meant the world to her. She especially loved being a housewife, spending time with her husband, 5 children, 12 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren. Dee had many close friends and she treasured their friendships. Dee loved gardening, tending to her flowers, canning the annual harvest, crocheting and sewing. She was an excellent cook and baker who loved to host family and friend get-togethers. Dee was also an avid Brewer and Packer fan.

A devout Christian, Dee was a member of Presentation Church for 64 years. She prided herself in managing their spring and fall rummage sales for more than 20 years. A homemaker while the kids were young, Dee work part time at Prelwitz Grocery Store and Dupies IGA Store in North Fond du Lac, and the Fond du Lac Store during Christmas seasons. In 1982 she began a 23-year career at Walgreens where she enjoyed conversing with customers until she retired in 2005. She was a member of a ladies canasta club for over 50 years! Dee loved visiting with the villagers when she worked the North Fond du Lac election polls for over 30 years.

Dee is survived by her husband, Paul Jasman; her children (and spouses): Larry (Sue) Jasman of Ogdensburg, WI; Paula (Dennis) Zemke of Larsen, WI; Lynn (John) Pollack of Van Dyne, WI; Bonnie (Frank) Cech of Seattle, WA; and Al (Shannon) Jasman of Lake Forest, IL.; her grandchildren: Brad Jasman, Kayla (Aaron) Simmons, Jennifer Zemke, Chris (Amy) Zemke, Ben (Kristin) Pollack, Shawn Pollack, Robyn (Chrissy) Ward, Tracy Pollack, Connor and Parker Cech, Meaghan and Kyle Jasman; and her great grandchildren: Reid and Rhett Simmons; Levi and Austin Zemke; Breya, Kenley, Kaden and Gavin Pollack; Veda, Charlie, Eve and Nell Ward; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Though we will miss you deeply, we are grateful for the many years we had with you and all the happy memories we’ll hold dear forever. We love you!

Dee is preceded in death by her parents, mother and father-in-law, Carl and Mary Jasman, sisters and brother-in-laws Jeannette (Eldor) Wishow of Oshkosh, Bernice (Bill) Loos of New London, Joyce (Gene) Gresen of New London, and brother and sister-in-law Charles (Grace) Fielding of Shiocton.
