Donald Crook

Donald Crook, 81, died Thursday, November 10, 2016 at Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac. He was born in Green Lake on March 16, 1935, a son of David and Catherine (Roberts) Crook. On March 17, 1956, he married Ruth Hebert in Fond du Lac. She preceded him in death on March 3, 2006.



Donald enjoyed working in his yard and when he was younger, liked to do crafty things. He had a greenhouse that he enjoyed for many years. Donald loved spending time at the cabin with his family. He worked as a furniture deliverer for Leath Furniture in Fond du Lac and then worked at the Damrow Company.



Survivors include his 7 children; Kathleen Kromm of Mesa, Ariz., Roland (Carrie) of Fond du Lac, Ruth Wollersheim of Fond du Lac, Terry of Fond du Lac, Randall (Cindy) of Markesan, Donna (Guy) Posthuma of Waupun and Jeff (special friend Carol Wager) of Fond du Lac; 24 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth; 2 brothers; 1 sister; 1 grandson and 2 sons-in-law.



Visitation for Donald will be held Tuesday, November 15, 2016 from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave. in Fond du Lac. Burial will follow in Green Lake Center Cemetery.
