Donald J. "Don" Tepp, 84, of Fond du Lac, died Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born September 19, 1927 in Steven Point, WI, the son of August and Martha Knapp Tepp. Don was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving from April 1945 to August 1946 during WWII in the Philippines and also during the Korean War from 1951 to 1952 in Japan. He worked for the Soo Line Railroad for 43 years retiring in 1986. Don married Lucille M. Breiner on October 4, 1954 in Bismarck, ND. He was a member of Holy Family Parish, Holy Name Society, Knights of Columbus, was very active in Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts, and was a Chairman of Catholic Committee on Scouting. Don enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, woodworking and most of all loved spending time with his family.SURVIVORS: his wife, Lucille; two sons, James (Amy) Tepp, Lakeville, MN and Ronald (Amy) Tepp, Van Dyne, WI; two daughters, Brenda (Douglas) Maciejewski, Oak Creek, WI and Sandra (Jeremy) Moore, St. Louis Park, MN; ten grandchildren, Kiersten, Matthew, Kabrina, Sheldon, Stephanie, Jamie, Jacob, Hawkins, Cody and Megan; three great grandchildren, Noah, Charlette, and Bentlee. He is further survived by two sisters, Yvonne Bauschelt, Portland, OR and Jeraine (James) Schreder, Peshtigo, WI; three brothers, Richard (Geraldine) Tepp, Oneida, WI, Eugene (Jean) Tepp, Germantown, WI, and Thomas (Mary) Tepp, Minocqua, WI; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Raymond, Robert and Leonard Tepp; one granddaughter, Tabitha Tepp.



VISITATION: will be from 4 "“ 8 PM on Friday, September 14, 2012 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. There will be no visitation on Saturday. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at Holy Family Church, 271 4th Street Way, Fond du Lac. Cremation will follow the traditional services with private inurnment at a later date.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
