Donald R. "Don" Roen

Donald "Don" R. Roen,77 of Fond du Lac, died Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born in Fond du Lac on July 5, 1936 the son of Elmer and Helen Francis Roen. On November 24, 1962 he married Marcella Hopk in Fond du Lac. Don was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a semi truck driver for various trucking companies for over 40 years. He enjoyed camping, and working on projects and helping people.SURVIVORS: Donald is survived by two children, a son Randy Roen, Appleton and one daughter Charlene Roen, Fond du Lac, four grandchildren,5five great-grandchildren one brother, Gerald (Pat) Roen, Fond du Lac, two sisters, Beverly Burnett and Marion Cole both of Elberton, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, two brothers David and Lloyd "Butch" Roen and one sister Marilyn Sabel.



VISITATION: Friends may call on Saturday, November 30, 2013 from 9:00-10:30 AM at the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park. FUNERAL: Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, November 30, 2013 at the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum. Reverend William Gruenstern will officiate.
