Dorothy O. WagnerDorothy O. Wagner went into the arms of her loving Savior on January 2, 2006, at St. Agnes Hospital after a brief illness. She was born on September 14, 1918, in Mt. Calvary to Benedict and Rose Wirigs Koenen. On September 13, 1938, she married Edwin J. Wagner at Holy Cross Church in Mt. Calvary. He preceded her in death on January 30, 1999. She and her husband lived most of their married life in Mt. Calvary. Together, they raised nine children. Dorothy was a member of Holy Family Parish-Sacred Heart Church, and was a former member of the Christian Mothers in Mt. Calvary and the funeral choir of Sacred Heart. Dorothy enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. They were the love of her life and that love was returned to her.Surviving are Mary Jane (Lloyd) Walber of New Holstein, Judine and Cynthia Wagner of Fond du Lac, Helen (Edward) Schroeder, Barbara (Frank) Prahl, and Geralyn Wagner, all of Plymouth, and Joseph (Donna) Wagner, and Susan (Ronald) Karls, both of Mt. Calvary, fourteen grandchildren, Dawn Halbur, Bryan Walber, Kathryn Taushaus, Michael (Annie) Schroeder and James Schroeder, Troy and Todd Wagner, Chad, Brent, and Tina Karls, Rebecca Brunner, Jennifer Schaefer, and Timothy and Matthew Prahl. 21 loving great-grandchildren further survive her. Also surviving her are sisters Sylvia Sabel, Genevieve (John) Nemick, and special sister and best friend, Rosemary Kohn. Also her in-laws, Sally Wagner, Norman (Alice) Wagner, Charles Wagner, and Teckla Olig. Further surviving are many nieces and nephews, with Anna Mae Taft being a special niece and friend. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sons, John and Edwin "Sonny", her brother, Benjamin, two sisters, Clara Huskey and Sr. Helen Koenen, four brothers-in-law, and four sisters-in-law.



Visitation for Mrs. Dorothy O. Wagner will be on Thursday, January 5, 2006, from 4 to 8 pm at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, and on Friday, January 6, 2006, from 9 to 10 am at Holy Family Parish-Sacred Heart Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 am at the church on Friday. The Rev. Patrick Heppe will officiate and burial will be in St. John The Baptist Church Parish Cemetery-Johnsburg.
