Duane L. Hammond

Duane L. Hammond, age 55, of Rosendale, passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2019. He was born on February 18, 1964, the son of Gary and Joan (McGraw) Hammond. Duane was raised in Stitzer, WI. On November 8, 1986, he married Barbara Fenlon in Fennimore. Duane worked for eighteen years at Foth Production Solutions in Green Bay. He enjoyed restoring old trucks, attending car shows, riding his bike, and metal fabrication. Most of all Duane loved spending time with family and friends.



Survivors include his wife, Barbara; two children, Alexander (fiancé Whitney Wieser) Hammond, and Megan (Tristan Martins) Hammond; he is further survived by his parents and two brothers; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his sister, Donita Hammond; his maternal grandparents, Eric and Helen McGraw; paternal grandparents, Clifford and Ethel Hammond.



Visitation will take place on Saturday, December 28, 2019, from 1-3 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave. Fond du Lac, WI, 54935. Funeral Service will take place on Monday, December 30, 2019, at 12 noon at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 1075 Adams St, Fennimore, WI, 53809. Visitation will take place on Monday at the church from 11:00 AM until the time of services. Burial will follow at Stitzer Lutheran Cemetery, Stitzer, WI.



In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family to establish a scholarship for engineering in Duane’s name at UW-Platteville.
