EARL O. "SQUEAK" DEWITZEarl O. "Squeak" Dewitz, age 69, of 133 White St, Oakfield, died Monday, August 8, 2005 at his residence. He was born on October 6, 1935 in Horicon the son of Arnold and Alice Shady Dewitz. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving in the Korean Theatre. On October 27, 1962 he married Virginia Nitschke at Church of Peace in Fond du Lac. He worked as a machinist at Mercury Marine for thirty-five years retiring in 1998. Earl was a member of Church of Peace-United Church of Christ, the Oakfield Conservation Club, VFW 8092, Walleyes for Tomorrow, and Whitetails Unlimited. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and playing cribbage and sheepshead.SURVIVORS: his wife Virginia of Oakfield, three sons, Mark Dewitz of Fond du Lac, Rodney (Lori) Dewitz of North Fond du Lac, David (Mary) Dewitz of Waupun, grandchildren, Amber, McKenzie, Kyle, Michael, Ryne, and Joshua, one brother, Marvin (Shirley) Dewitz of Fond du Lac, one sister, Diane (Bill) Kuslits Sr. of Oakfield, two special cousins, Lorraine Zeaman and Leona Wagner, and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, Connie Gregory.



VISITATION: Wednesday, August 10, 2005 from 4-8 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: Thursday, August 11, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home with the Reverend Virginia Pych officiating. Burial will follow at Avoca Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday at the funeral home from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services. Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is serving the family.
