Edyth E. Ward

Edyth E. Ward, age 82, of Fond du Lac, passed away on Sunday, November 11, 2018, at Hospice Home of Hope. She was born on September 8, 1936, in Milwaukee, the daughter of Al and Ida Awve. On May 14, 1960, she married Dean Ward in Milwaukee. Edie was a member of the Fond du Lac Senior Center and the Wautoma Senior Center. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and going on casino bus trips.



Survivors include her husband, Dean Ward of Fond du Lac; two sons, Mike Ward of Abbotsford, and Neal (Connie) Ward of Milwaukee; four grandchildren, Kaylin, Danielle, Carli, and Brandon; one brother-in-law, Charles (Dorisanne) Ward of Milwaukee; with special thanks to David and Carol Awve, Gale Smith, and all the other extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.



Visitation will take place on Thursday, November 15, 2018, from 1-2 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave, Fond du Lac, WI, 54935. A memorial service will follow the visitation at 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Cremation has taken place.
