Elaine E. Wehde

Elaine E. Wehde, 81 of N2395 Winnebago Point Beach Road, Chilton, died Wednesday, December 13, 2006 where she had resided with her daughter, Mary Richter for the past year. She was born in Horicon on September 2, 1925 the daughter of Erwin P. and Alvina W. Witt Johnson. On May 28,1944 she married Clifford Wehde at St. Stephen Lutheran Church, Horicon. He preceded her in death on October 26,1979. Elaine was employed as a telephone operator and later worked for John Deer in Horicon for 21 years until retirement. She was a member Hope Lutheran Church and volunteered with putting together the church bulletin. Elaine enjoyed playing cards, ceramics, spending time with her family and taking care for her mother, Alvina Johnson at her home.Elaine is survived by two daughters, Wendy (Robert) Marten, Fond du Lac and Mary Richter, Chilton ,one grandson, Justin Marten, West Allis, two dogs, Emma and Vince T. Labardi. She is further survived by other relatives and friends Elaine was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.



Friends may call on Friday, December 15, 2006 from 9:00 to 11:30 A.M. at Hope Lutheran Church. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 15, 2006 at 11:30 A.M. at Hope Lutheran Church. Reverend David Lieske will officiate. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, Horicon.Memorials appreciated to Hospice Home of Hope.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
