Elaine G. Overbeck, 73 formerly of 466 4th Street and a resident of ManorCare Health Services for the past 8 years died Sunday, May 14,2006 at St. Agnes Hospital. She was born in Green Bay on June 22,1932 the daughter of Albert and Sadie LaCount Edwards. On June 23,1952 she married Louis W. Overbeck in Milwaukee. Elaine was employed by Bell Telephone Company for 9 years while residing in Indiana. She was a member of Covenant United Methodist Church and the Woman's Club at church. She was a past worthy matron of the Fond du Lac Eastern Star Chapter. Elaine was a volunteer at St. Agnes Hospital serving as a communion assistant.Survivors include, her husband, Louis W. Overbeck, Fond du Lac, two children, a daughter, Deborah Wagner, Fond du Lac and a son James (Nicole) Overbeck, Neshkoro, three grandchildren, Alyssa, Ryan, Josephine. Five brothers and sisters, Shirley (James) Christenson, Little Suamico, Roger (Helen) Edwards, Colorado Springs, Colorado, Dale (Jan) Edwards, Green Bay, Darrel (Betty) Edwards, Neenah, and Gary Edwards,Appleton. Elaine was preceded in death by her parents, son-in-law, Charles Wagner, one grandson, Matthew, three brothers, Albert, Jerry, and Larry.



Visitation will be on Friday, May 19,2006 from 12:00 P.M. to 1:00 P.M. at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 19,2006 at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Reverend Paul Armstrong officiating. Burial will be at St. John The Baptist Cemetery, Howard,WI. In lieu of flowers memorials appreciated to Covenant United Methodist Church.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home Is Serving The Family.
