ELIZABETH CREGOElizabeth Crego, 84, of Fond du Lac, died Sunday, December 15, 2013 at her residence. She was born May 6, 1929 in Rosendale, the daughter of Simon and Gertrude Killemburger Wendl. On October 10, 1951 she married Raymond E. Crego in Waukau, WI and he preceded her in death on December 12, 1985. Liz worked for Infant Socks, Regalware, and provided child care for over 20 years. She was a member of Spirit of Life Church. She was a foster mother for many years and adopted her foster child, Jessica. She enjoyed birds especially her cockatiel, Sassy. Liz enjoyed reading her Bible, crocheting, sewing, cooking, baking, canning, and gardening. She loved children and was a grandma to everyone she knew. She is survived by her children, Victoria (Tim) Schneck, Killeen, TX, Raymond (Jill) Crego, Jr., Campbellsport, Debra Crego, Fond du Lac, Barbara (Tom) Schultz, Oakfield, Nicholas (Tammy) Crego, Fond du Lac, Gregory Crego, Fond du Lac, Jessica Crego, Ohio; 23 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren; one sister, Eva Giles, New Haven, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; four sisters, Gertrude LaShay, Marie Jones, Bertha Wendl, Margaret Wagner; three brothers, Joseph, Nicholas, and John Wendl.



The visitation will be held from 10:00 AM "“ 1:00 PM on Friday, December 20, 2013 at Spirit of Life Church. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, December 20, 2013 at Spirit of Life Church with Rev. Rob Ramirez officiating.
