Elsie E. Hass

Elsie E. Hass, 82, of N9465 Hass Road, passed away Wednesday, February 20, 2008, with her family at her side. She was born May 26, 1926, in Fair Oaks, IN, the daughter of Herman and Edith Sanders Hass. On November 3, 1945, she married Arthur Hass at St. Peters' Evangelical Lutheran Church in Fond du Lac. Mrs. Hass was a member of St. John's Church in Nekimi where she attended Senior Saints, was a church choir member, and had been a member of the church council. She farmed with her husband all her life, and also worked at SNC, Bestt Roller, Standard Kollsman, and Miles Kimball. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and spending time with her family.Surviving is her husband, Arthur, three daughters, Marlene (Richard) Schultz of Van Dyne, Diane (David) Tigert of Oshksoh, and Cheryl (Randy) Miller of Fond du Lac; two sons, David (Paula) Hass and Gary (Teresa) Hass both of Van Dyne, a daughter-in-law, Marjorie Hass of Simi Valley, CA; 13 grandchildren, Kim (Jeff) Jodarski, Kari (Dan) Haegler, Candy Hass, Robby Hass, Roxanne (Brad) Brayshaw, Krystal (Chuck) Wachs, Jodi Miller, Jason (Jessica) Miller, Jeff (Kim) Miller, Joshua Hass, Ashley Hass, Cailyn Hass, and Camryn Hass. She is further survived by 13 great-grandchildren, Samantha, Nathan, and Alyssa Jodarski, Hanna, Kelsey, Noah, and Carson Wachs, Emma, Sheridyn, and Ethan Brayshaw, and Natalie, Madison, and Owen Miller; a sister, Jeanette Keipe of Fond du Lac, and a brother, Emil (Tola) Hass of Ocala, FL, and other relatives and friends. Her parents, a son, Ronald, two grandchildren, two sisters, Ernestine Seymour and Doris Dehring, and an infant brother preceded her in death.



Visitation for Mrs. Elsie E. Hass will be on Sunday, February 24, 2008, from 10:30 to 1:30 pm at St. John's Lutheran Church, 491 Old Oregon Road, Van Dyne. Funeral services will be at 1:30 pm at the church. The Rev. James Reiff will officiate and burial will be in the parish cemetery. A memorial has been established in Mrs. Hass' name.
