Esther C. Fiebig

Esther C. Fiebig, 90, died Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at Lakeview Place in Fond du Lac where she had been a resident for the past six years. She was born in Dundee on August 19, 1924, the daughter of William and Minnie (Plautz) Baumann. On June 15, 1946 she married the love of her life, Henry “Hank” Fiebig at St. Paul’s Church in the town of Forest. Henry preceded her in death on August 29, 1992.



She enjoyed needlepoint and anything craft related. She especially liked counted cross-stitch. Henry and Esther farmed in the town of Empire for 20 years. In 1979, they moved to Fond du Lac. She then worked at Tolibia Cheese for another 20 years, retiring in 1986.



Esther is survived by one brother, Allen (Lorraine) Bauman, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, four brothers; Roland (Agnes), Gilbert (Mildred), Arthur (Mabel) and Bill (Vivian) and one sister, Helen (Eugene) Beffel.



FUNERAL INFORMATION



A visitation for Esther will be held from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM on Friday, October 3, 2014 at Church of Peace in Fond du Lac. Funeral service will follow the visitation at 2:00 PM with Rev. Jennifer C.M. Dawson officiating. Burial will take place in St. John’s Cemetery in the town of Forest.



The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Lakeview Place for their loving and special care shown to Esther.



In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed in Esther’s memory either to Agnesian Hospice Hope or to Church of Peace in Fond du Lac.
