George A. Glendinning

George A. Glendinning, 85, of Fond du Lac, died Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at ManorCare Health Services. He was born December 14, 1932 in Onoville, NY, the son of John and Anna Glendinning. George worked for Union National and Crawford’s Furniture Factory in Jamestown, NY until his retirement in 1996. He was an active member of the United Furniture Workers of America. George enjoyed puzzle books, Wisconsin Badgers, Green Bay Packers, and loved baseball especially the Chicago Cubs.



He is survived by five children, Timothy Glendinning of Jamestown, NY, Barbara Rickard of Jamestown, NY, David (Ruth) Glendinning of Fond du Lac, Donald (Amy) Glendinning of Dayton, TN, and Carlton (Nicole) Glendinning of Stuart, IA; thirteen grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Theodore Glendinning; one brother, Bill Glendinning; and one sister, Rossetta Fluent.



At George’s request cremation has taken place.
