KARIN R. and GEORGE L. GEASLANDKarin R. Geasland, age 64, of 110 S. Seymour St, Fond du Lac, died Thursday, November 24, 2005 at Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital. She was born on June 17, 1941 in Danzig, Germany the daughter of Paul and Marie Markowski Zielke. On March 30, 1960 she married George L. Geasland in Berlin, Germany. In 1960 Karin and her husband moved to the United States. In 1973 Karin was proud to become a United States citizen. She worked for a nursing assistant Manor Care for over thirty years retiring in 2003.George L. Geasland, age 65, of 110 S. Seymour St, Fond du Lac, died, Sunday, November 27, 2005 at Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital. He was born on March 29, 1940 in Platteville, WI the son of William D. and Lena R. McKnight Geasland. George served in the United States Army, stationed in Germany. On March 30, 1960 he married Karin Zielke in Berlin, Germany. He worked as an insurance adjustor for thirty-seven years until retiring in 2002. SURVIVORS: four children, Roger (May) Geasland of Fond du Lac, Richard (Kathy) Geasland of Fond du Lac, Randy Geasland of Fond du Lac, Renate Mauer of Fond du Lac, ten grandchildren, one great-grandchild, Karin's two sisters, Gisela (Wolfgang) Neuman of Berlin, Germany, Brigette (Werner) Pischzan of Toronto, Canada, George is survived by his parents, William Geasland and Lena Shanley, two brothers, Melvin (Kathy Hayes) Riege of Phoenix, AZ, Maynard Geasland of Belmont, WI, one sister, Deanna Webster of Lancaster, WI. Karin was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, and one sister, George was preceded in death by his wife, and his grandparents.



VISITATION: A visitation for both Mr. and Mrs. Geasland on Wednesday, November 30, 2005 from1 -4 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: A funeral service for both Mr. and Mrs. Geasland will be held Wednesday, November 30, 2005 at 4:00 P.M. with the Reverend Paul Armstrong officiating. Cremation has taken place.In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to the American Cancer Society. Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is serving the family.
