Gloria Rita Davis

Gloria Rita Davis, 80, of the Marytown area, WI, died Thursday, December 1, 2016. She was born March 10, 1936 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Steven and Gertrude Bielejewski Borgiasz. Rita was employed by the American Heart Association in Springfield, IL before moving to the Fond du Lac area to become the Executive Director of the Waubun Girl Scout Council. She was a nature and wildlife enthusiast, volunteer, and was active in the Republican Party. Rita enjoyed restoring her farmhouse and prairie land on her property which she named “Humble Heart.”



She is survived by three daughters, Deborah (Alan) Brodie of Amboy, WA; Laura (Craig Wetter) Towle of Sarasota, FL; and Christine Davis of Girard, IL; three grandchildren, Eric Towle, Jaimie Towle, and Ashley Brodie; two sisters, Trudie (Ron) Gohl of Wonder Lake, IL and Geri (Sonny) Henning of Chicago, IL; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents.



Visitation will be held from 1:00 – 3:00 PM on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at Villa Loretta Chapel in Mt. Calvary. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 3:00 PM at the Villa Loretta Chapel.



The family extends its thanks to the community and caregivers for their support and friendship.
