Grace A. Diederichs Adams

It has pleased Almighty God to call unto Himself the soul of Grace A. Diederichs Adams, 73, of 136 N. Berger Parkway,a resident of St. Francis Home on Thursday March 25, 2010. She was born July 29, 1936, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Christian parents Roy H. and Josephine A. Loehr Seibel. She was received in the Kingdom of God by the washing of Holy Baptism and Confirmed in the faith of Christ Jesus in her youth at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in the Town of Forest. On August 5, 1953, she married Ralph E. Diederichs and he preceded in death on January 18, 1971. She later married Elmer F. Adams on May 27, 1977 and he preceded her in death on October 9, 2007. Grace was employed as a retail clerk for over 40 years, working at Diederichs Jewelry for four years, H.C. Prange Store for 22 years, and St. Agnes Communications for eight years. She was member of Faith Lutheran Evangelical Lutheran Church since 1957. She was graced by the Lord with a special gift of love and compassion for others. Surviving are three sons, James Diederichs of Glenbeulah, Greg (Juli) Diederichs and Brian Diederichs, both of Fond du Lac, five grandchildren, Amee, Alissa, Megan, Jenna, and Matthew, two brothers, Raymond Seibel and Paul (Bonnie) Seibel, both of Fond du Lac, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Her parents, both husbands, a brother, Marvin Seibel, and two sisters-in-law, Audrey Seibel and Donna Seibel, preceded her in death.



Visitation for Grace A. Diederichs Adams will be on Monday, March 29, 2010, from 2 to 4 pm at Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, 55 Prairie Road, Fond du Lac. Memorial services will be at 4 pm at the church on Monday. Cremation has taken place. Rev. David Haugly will officiate and inurnment of cremated remains will be in the Town of Forest Cemetery.
