Harvey G. Aschenbrenner

Harvey G. Aschenbrenner, Sr., 94, of Fond du Lac, died Thursday, March 28, 2013 at his residence. He was born June 9, 1918 in Auburndale, WI, the son of George and Lydia Ruch Aschenbrenner. On November 14, 1939 he married Emma Glanz in Oakfield, WI and she preceded him in death in September 19, 2001. Harvey worked for G & L as a machinist and also installed antennas and satellites and later was employed with Design Electronics. Harvey was instrumental in starting the Fond du Lac Little League Baseball Association and he was the second president of Fond du Lac Little League Baseball. Harvey was currently a member of the selections committee for the Youth Baseball Hall of Fame. He was an avid sports fan, especially baseball.He is survived by two sons, Gary (Joannie Franklin) Aschenbrenner, Little Elkart Lake and Randy (Laurie) Aschenbrenner, Green Bay; one daughter-in-law, Cathie Aschenbrenner, Fond du Lac; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; one brother, Roger (Helen) Aschenbrenner, Fond du Lac; three sisters, Carol (Jerry) Pierce, Fond du Lac, Pat Fischer, Fond du Lac, Dorothy Burke, Fond du Lac. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Emma; one son, Harvey Aschenbrenner, Jr , two brother-in-laws, Earl Burke and Donald Fischer.



VISITATION: The visitation will be held from 3 "“ 6 PM on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: The funeral service will be held at 6 PM on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Burial will be held in Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery.In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established in Harvey's name.
