Heather K. (Baierl) Jones

Heather K. (Baierl) Jones, formerly of North Fond du Lac and a resident of West Henrietta, New York, died July 22,2006 at Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester, New York. She had fought brain cancer for 5 years. Heather was born March 7,1973 in Fond du Lac the daughter of Ken and Eloise "Ellie" O'Connor Baierl. On July 29,2001 she married James Jones in Rochester, New York. Heather was a graduate of St. Mary's High School Class of 1991. She attended U.W. Fond du Lac receiving a degree in Childhood Development. She later moved to Rochester to work as a nanny. While living in Rochester she received a degree in Criminal Justice involving children. She worked at Hillside Manor, a children's rehabilitation center for one year. Heather enjoyed writing poetry, loved dancing and was a very faith filled Christian belonging to Koinonia Fellowship, East Rochester, New York.She is survived by her husband, James Jones, West Henrietta, New York, her parents, Ken and Ellie Baierl, North Fond du Lac, two sisters, Jenny (Jim) Wathan, Fond du Lac, Steffanie (Lanny) Orr, Fremont,WI , one brother, Kenny (fiancé Jennifer Volbrecht) Baierl, Champlin, Minnesota, three nieces, Erika, Abby, and Emily Wathan, maternal grandmother, Rosemary O'Connor, Fond du Lac, and paternal grandmother, Erna Baierl, Fond du Lac. Heather was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Russell O'Connor, and paternal grandfather Edward Baierl.



Family will receive friends on Saturday, August 5,2006 from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A. M. Presentation Catholic Church, North Fond du Lac. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, August 5,2006 at 11:00 A.M. at Presentation Catholic Church, North Fond du Lac with Reverend John Simon officiating. Burial took place July 25,2006 at Oakwood Cemetery, Penfield, New York.In lieu of flowers memorials appreciated to St. Jude Children's Hospital.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is assisting the family.
