James D. Frank

James D. Frank, 87, of North Fond du Lac, died Saturday, April 23, 2022 at his residence. He was born August 31, 1934 in Portage, the son of James P. and Inez (Dupless) Frank. James served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was stationed in Germany. On June 1, 1957 he married Lois Miller at St. Mary Church in Portage and she preceded him in death on September 15, 2014. James retired from Omni Paint & Glass in 2000. He was a member of Holy Family Parish, Presentation Church, Fond du Lac Jaycees, North Fond du Lac Optimist Club, and North Fond du Lac Planning Commission. He enjoyed walking his dogs and loved fishing.



He is survived by two sons, Steve Frank and Scott (Gwen) Frank; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; one brother; and three sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Lois; and one brother.



At James’ request, cremation has taken place and private services were held.
