James E. Snyder

James E. Snyder, Sr., 60, of 725 Railroad Avenue, Lomira, died Friday, March 10, 2006, at Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center. He was born May 17, 1945, in Fond du Lac, the son of Richard and Elizabeth Higgins Snyder. On July 31, 1965, he married Barbara A. Boutin in Two Rivers, WI. Mr. Snyder was formerly employed by TAB Products of Mayville until his retirement in 1999. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, serving in Vietnam from 1966 to 1967. Surviving is his wife, Barbara, three daughters, Wendy Snyder and Angel (John) Huebschman, both of Fond du Lac, and Rebecca (Jon) Thill of Lomira, three sons, James "Jesse" (Heather) Snyder, Jr., of Fond du Lac, Shawn Snyder of Manitowoc, and Gary Snyder of Lomira, 16 grandchildren, five sisters, Janet (Dale) Young of Grand Junction, CO, Donna Abitz of Neshkoro, Virginia (Stanley) Zielke of Fond du Lac, Bonnie (Donald) Hiley of Madison, and Diane (Brian) Pillar of Wasilla, AK, six brothers, Eugene (Anne) Snyder of Brillion, Richard Snyder of Two Rivers, Charles Snyder of Portland, OR, Phillip (Nellie) Snyder of Washington State, Walter (Nancy) Snyder of Fond du Lac, and Steven (Julene) Snyder of Cato, WI, and his mother, Elizabeth Snyder of Fond du Lac. He is further survived by his foster children and their families, Catherine (Thomas) Scherer and their children, Tom, April, Heather, and Stacy of Two Rivers, Tammy (Michael) Antonie and their children, Joleen and Virginia of Manitowoc, and William (Kathleen) Boutin and their children, Casandra and William, of Holt, MI. His father, a brother, Raymond, and a sister, Claudette Lee, preceded him in death.



Visitation for Mr. James E. Snyder, Sr., will be on Monday, March 13, 2006, from 4 to 7 pm at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, March 14, 2006 at 11 am at the funeral home. Graveside military rites will be conducted by Trier-Puddy American Legion Post #75 Firing Squad.
