Jean A. Norenberg

Jean A. Norenberg, age 84, of Fond du Lac, died Friday, September 3, 2021, at St. Agnes Hospital. She was born on December 2, 1936, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Edwin and Wilhelmina (Schmitz) Blatz. On October 1, 1955, she married Dale L. Norenberg at St. Mary’s Church in Fond du Lac. He preceded her in death on December 15, 2003. Jean loved going to Oneida and also enjoyed reading and doing crossword and jigsaw puzzles. Most of all Jean loved family get-togethers and spending time with her grandchildren. She loved going to family softball games and watching the Milwaukee Brewers.



Survivors include her three daughters, Debbie (Ken Weiss) Norenberg, Cynthia (Kenneth) Kraus, Tammy (James) Hickey; eight grandchildren, Ami (Jason) King, Steven (Katie) Wyrobeck, Angie (Andy) Smedberg, Jodi (Tony) Benisch, Aaron (Stacey) Kraus, Derick (Tiffany) Wyrobeck, Caitlin (Bryce Hicken) Hickey; great-grandchildren, Michaela, Lennon, and Isabela King, Zachery, Payten, and Tayler Wyrobeck, Jaydin Romalia, Brynlee and Brystal Smedberg, Lilly and Lydia Kraus, Dawson and Mackenzie Wyrobeck; her siblings, Joyce Gross, Gloria Schumacher, John Blatz; in-laws, Patsy Lefeber, Jerry Norenberg; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Wilhelmina Blatz; her husband, Dale Norenberg; one grandson, Brian Gundert; one sister, Donna Webb; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ernest and Francis (Johnson) Norenberg; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Tom Webb, George Priessner, Gerald Gross, Donald (Janet) Norenberg, Lorraine (Bob) Thill, Randy (Kate) Norenberg, Betty (Don) Zwicky, Sally (Roger) Curtis, Eugene Norenberg, Earl Norenberg, Jeanne (Edgar) LaFrancois, Betty Norenberg.



Visitation will take place on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, from 10:30 AM until 12 noon at St. Mary’s Church-Holy Family, 59 E. Merrill Ave, Fond du Lac, WI, 54935. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow the visitation on Tuesday at church at 12:00 PM. Cremation has taken place. Interment will take place at a later date at Calvary Cemetery.
