JEAN HOPE "NANA" WELCHJean Hope "Nana" Welch, 74 of Fond d Lac died Monday, March 27,2006 at her residence. She was born on July 4,1931 in Fond du Lac the daughter of Raymond M. and Myrtle Anderson Thompson. On September 2,1950 she married Richard "Dick" Welch at the St. Louis Church parsonage. Jean worked as a car- hop for Bell's Restaurant, Infant Sock's, Bestt Roll'r, and Combined Insurance. She was a life-long member of Division Street Methodist now known as Covenant United Methodist Church. Jean was a member of the Fond du Lac Artist Association, Eagles Ladies Dart ball League and at one time enjoyed camping and fishing. She was a volunteer at Agnesian Healthcare Hospice Office at 239 Trowbridge Drive, Fond du Lac. SURVIVORS: her husband Richard "Dick" Welch of Fond du Lac, two daughters, Sandra L. Thern of Fond du Lac, Shelli (Bill) Dekker of Fond du Lac, three grandchildren, Kris (Tom) Hettenhaus of Fond du Lac, Scott (Tina) Thern of Green Bay, Kathy Dekker of Fond du Lac, three great-grandchildren, Kaelyn and Brianna of Fond du Lac, and Emily of Green Bay, one sister, Dolores (Eugene) Coller of Fond du Lac, one brother, Raymond "Peewee" (Melede) Thompson of Fond du Lac, brother in law, Arlan (Ruth) Welch of California, sister in law, Sherry (Lee) Rady of Fond du Lac, nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Tom (Jolene) Thompson, Howard (Coralie) Thompson, and two beloved pets, Muffin and Shelley Jo.



VISITATION: Thursday, March 30, 2006 from 3-8 P.M. at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, March 31, 2006 at Covenant United Methodist Church.Burial will follow at Ledgeview Memorial Park. Friends may call at the church on Friday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services. At Jean's request the casket will be closed.Memorials appreciated to Hospice Hope, Humane Society, or the charity of ones choice.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is serving the family.
