Jeannette KissingerJeannette Hazel A. Kissinger, 81, of 77 Wisconsin-American Drive, Fond du Lac, died Friday, January 13, 2006, at St. Agnes Hospital. She was born May 13, 1924, in the Town of Nekimi, the daughter of Charles and Lillian Schultz Leichtfuss. On April 22, 1944, she married Arden A. Hinz. He preceded her in death on March 17, 1964. She later married Robert J. Kissinger, Sr. on November 4, 1967, and he preceded her in death on September 30, 2001. Jeannette attended St. John's school in Nekimi. She was formerly employed at Wells Manufacturing, Miles Kimball Company, SNC, and Haentze Floral Greenhouse. She and her husband also owned and operated Kissinger's Greenhouse. She was a former member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Nekimi and currently belonged to Church of Our Saviour Evangelical Lutheran ELCA of Fond du Lac.Surviving is a son, James (Priscilla) Hinz of Oshkosh, a daughter, Carol Smidl of Berlin, three step-sons, Dallas (Becky) Kissinger, Sr. of Fond du Lac, William (Barbara) Kissinger, Sr. of Van Dyne, and Robert (Julie) Kissinger, Jr. of Lomira, a step-daughter, Bonnie (Kenneth) Boeder of Coon Rapids, MN, a sister, Evelyn Jensen of Brownsville, grandchildren, James (Lori) Opppermann of Oshkosh, Scott (Mary) Oppermann of Mission Viejo, CA, Michele Northup of Fond du Lac, Katie Hinz of Greendale, WI, Robbie Hinz of Oshkosh, Michael (Tracy) Kluza of Mesa, AZ, William (Colleen) Kluza of Denver, CO, Christine (Roger) Sutherland of Mesa, AZ, Shaun Kluza of Minneapolis, MN, William (Jodi) Kissinger Jr. of Ripon, Dallas Kissinger, Jr. of Oshkosh, Dustin and Douglas Kissinger, both of Fond du Lac, 20 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Her parents, husbands, a son, Richard Hinz, a grandson, William Oppermann, a son-in-law, Bohumil Smidl, four brothers, Herbert, Gilbert, Harry, and Henry Leichtfuss, three sisters, Irene Schulke, Marie Roberts, and Ada Block, three brothers-in-law, Edward Schulke, Tom Roberts, and Lester Jensen, and three sisters-in-law, Nandina Leichtfuss, Mabel Leichtfuss, and Margaret Leichtfuss, preceded her in death.



Visitation for Mrs. Jeannette Hazel A. Kissinger will be on Monday, January 16, 2006, from 4 to 8 pm at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, and on Tuesday, January 17, 2006, from 10 to 11 am at St. John's Church in Nekimi. Funeral services will be on Tuesday at 11 am at the church. The Rev. Duane C. Wisner will officiate and burial will be in Schiller Cemetery, Town of Nekimi, Winnebago County.
