JEANNE M. SKILLING



Jeanne M. Skilling, 93, of Franklin, WI and formerly of Fond du Lac died Sunday, August 28, 2016 at her residence. She was born February 16, 1923 in Wausau, the daughter of Arthur and Erna Lord DuFour. Jeanne married Ellsworth Radtke in 1942 and he preceded her in death on December 18, 1944 from injuries sustained in WWII during the Battle of the Bulge. On July 5, 1947 she married George Skilling in Rothschild, WI and he preceded her in death on June 25, 1999. She was a past member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Fond du Lac. Jeanne loved spending time with her family.



She is survived by her eight children, Shirley (Patrick) Robinson of Franklin, Gerald Skilling of Mosinee, Rodney Skilling of Pueblo West, CO, Kathryn Skilling of Fond du Lac, Georjean (Dennis) Cotton of Ripon, Donna (Mark) Denneau of Racine, Tony (Debbie) Skilling of Lomira, and Tim Skilling of Fond du Lac; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; one brother, Roger DuFour of New Berlin; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Ellsworth and George; daughter-in-law, Linda Skilling; an infant brother, Don; sister, Dolores (Don) Prisuda; and sister-in-law, Beverly DuFour.



The visitation will be held from 10:00 am – 12:00 noon on Friday, September 2, 2016 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, September 2, 2016 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Estabrooks Cemetery.
