Judine C. "Judy" Schroeder

Judine "Judy" C. Schroeder, 73, of Fond du Lac, died Friday, December 6, 2013 at St. Agnes Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born October 8, 1940 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of LeRoy and Fern Brayton Schultz. Judine was a graduate of L.P. Goodrich Class of 1958. She worked for the Water Department after graduation. On October 29, 1960 she married Joseph P. Schroeder at St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church, Fond du Lac. She graduated from Moraine Park Technical College's LPN program and worked at St. Agnes Hospital for 28 years retiring in 2002. Judy was a member of Hope Lutheran Church and also a friend of Bill for 41 years. She had a gift for home decorating and we all knew Judy loved to shop. Judy loved her family dearly and had a passion for life. She had many physical setbacks throughout her life but her positive attitude always pulled her through, until this final illness was too much for her to handle.She is survived by her husband, Joseph Schroeder; one daughter, Jan (Jack) Knipple, Fond du Lac; one son-in-law, Rick Mackie, Fond du Lac; three grandchildren, Tyler Knipple, Kelsey Knipple, and Jordan Mackie, all of Fond du Lac; one sister-in-law, Mary (Bob) Huberty, Fond du Lac; a special niece, Mary McNamara; nieces and nephews; special friends, Carol (Bill) Hanrahan, Fond du Lac, Judy Rochow, Kiel, and Judy (Jim) Pollard, Fond du Lac. She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Jodi Mackie; two sisters, Jeanne (Jack) Zimmerman and Sharon (Jim) Parker.



VISITATION: The visitation will be held from 4:00 "“ 8:00 PM on Thursday, December 12, 2013 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home and again from 10:00 "“ 11:00 AM on Friday, December 13, 2013 at the church. FUNERAL: The memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 13, 2013 at Hope Lutheran Church with Rev. Steven Huff officiating. Cremation has taken place.
